18th International Biennale of Theatre Poster 2022

18th International Biennale of Theatre Poster 2022 aims at reviewing works designed to promote theatre and opera performances, concerts and related events, and created from 2020 to 2022. The competition is open to professional artists, and students of schools of fine arts. Participation in 18th Biennale of Theatre Poster is free of charge. Each author may enter any number of works. The posters should be sent by 10 July 2022 using the electronic entry form on the website:
The preselection will take place on 14-17 July 2022. Ninety (90) posters qualified for the second part of the competition will also be displayed at an exhibition and reproduced in the catalogue. The list of the qualified posters will be published on our website: www.teatr-rzeszow.pl.
The winners will be informed about the prizes via e-mail. The exhibition will first be shown and the Jury’s verdict will be announced on 19 Aug. 2022 in Rzeszów during the opening ceremony for the TRANS/MISJE - TRÓJMORZE Festival. Later the exhibition will be presented in Vilnius, Lithuania, in September 2022 during TRANS/MISJE BALTICUM 2022 International Festival of Arts. The 17th International Biennale of Theatre Poster in Rzeszów 2022 will be accompanied with a Catalogue. Winners and authors of posters qualified for the exhibition will each receive one free copy of the catalogue and a diploma confirming their participation in the competition.

Do 10 lipca br. czekamy na zgłoszenia prac, które wezmą udział w 18. Międzynarodowym Biennale Plakatu Teatralnego 2022 organizowanym przez nasz Teatr. Celem konkursu, do którego zapraszamy profesjonalnych twórców i studentów wyższych szkół plastycznych, jest przegląd twórczości plakatowej związanej z promocją sztuki teatralnej, operowej, koncertowej bądź wydarzeń okołoteatralnych powstałych w okresie od 2020 do 2022 roku.
Wernisaż premierowej wystawy oraz ogłoszenie werdyktu Jury odbędzie się 28 lipca 2020 w Rzeszowie podczas Międzynarodowego Festiwalu TRANS/MISJE – TRÓJMORZE. Następnie, prace będzie można obejrzeć w Wilnie podczas Międzynarodowego Festiwalu Sztuk TRANS/MISJE BALTICUM 2022.

Teatr im. Wandy Siemaszkowej w Rzeszowie organizuje Międzynarodowe Biennale Plakatu Teatralnego od ponad 30 lat! Jest to jedno z najbardziej prestiżowych wydarzeń tego typu na całym świecie. Pokonkursowe wystawy prezentowane są nie tylko w przestrzeni teatralnego foyer, ale również w galeriach na terenie kraju oraz poza jego granicami.
Kuratorem i twórcą Biennale jest Krzysztof Motyka – wieloletni artysta grafik Teatru im. Wandy Siemaszkowej, autor większości plakatów z naszego repertuaru.
