Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen (Hungary)

The theatre, which is one of the best working theatres in the country, was opened in 1865. In 2015 it celebrated the 150th anniversary of existence. The exterior of the building was created in a Moorish style, richly decorated with sculptures of muses and images of great Hungarian writers: Csokonai, Petőfi, Vörösmarty, Kazinczy, Kölcsey and Kisfaludy.
